Hobart is Tasmania’s capital and a historic, cultural city at the foot of Mount Wellington. A drive to the summit of either Mount Wellington or Mount Nelson, a tour of the Cadbury’s Chocolate factory or a cruise along the Derwent River are just a few of the varied activities available in Hobart. Just outside of Hobart is the Coal River Valley which is famous for its many vineyards and wineries which offer tasting sessions for tourists.
