The Olgas Travel Information

The Olgas are a group of rounded hills resembling domes located 30km west of Ayers Rock. Their Aboriginal name is Kata Tjuta which translates as ‘the place of many heads’. There are 36 individual dome heads within the Olgas, but smaller domes in the surrounding area make 61 in total. Walks and trails around The Olgas allow for exploration of the area’s fascinating wildlife including the fierce-looking yet harmless thorny devil.
