Hunter Valley

The Hunter Valley is Australia’s leading wine region, and is home to more than 80 wineries which all offer daily tasting and tours. The Hunter is rich in lush forest areas and the best way to see panoramic views of this dense, green landscape is to take a sunrise hot-air balloon ride across the 80km east to west strip that is the Hunter Valley. Not only is the Hunter famous as a wine country; it also has a good reputation for fine dining and produce such as Hunter cheese, chocolate and chutneys.
